2008 Europeans

We are very happy to announce that the Laser 2 European Championship 2008 will take place in Makkum, The Netherlands from the 16th until the 22nd of June. We will be sailing on the Ijsselmeer, which some of you may remember from the Worlds 2003. We are sure that it is going to be a great event, so mark the date in your agenda and come to Makkum and compete!

Preliminary Schedule:

• Monday: Arrival and measurement
• Tuesday: Social activity: probably renting a large 'platbodem' (a typical old Dutch boat) to go to the 'waddenzee'
• Wednesday: Measurement (if not completed yet) and practice race or first real race
• Thursday: Racing
• Friday: Racing
• Saturday: Racing and BBQ
• Sunday: Racing and awards ceremony
