We are very happy to announce that the 2009 Laser 2 World Championship will take place in Weymouth, UK. The venue will be the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy. This is the facility that will be used for the 2012 Summer Olympic sailing events. The regatta will be from 18 - 24 July 2009.
Special effort is being put into assisting those traveling from far away in obtaining local charter boats and inexpensive lodging. We are preparing a website dedicated to Laser 2 Worlds information, and it will be launched very soon. Please check back here for the address.
